Success Story: wemove digital solutions GmbH - wCMF

wemove digital solutions GmbH uses openArchitectureWare in their wCMF open source project.
wCMF is a PHP framework for building web based Content Management Systems.
In the development process users have to define a data model that describes the content to manage and a control flow model that describes end user activities.
Both may be done using stereotyped UML class models.

Based on these models openArchitectureWare is used to generate the persistent layer classes and stubs for the controller classes and view templates as well as the configuration files. In this way bigger parts of the application are provided quickly and in a consistent manner.
The protected region feature of openArchitectureWare allows the developers to write application specific code into designated areas, which will be preserved in further generation cycles.

wemove is specially pleased with the flexible architecture of openArchitectureWare which allows the easy integration of the wCMF metamodel and the support of different UML tools.
