The Generator Hello World project is an easy-to-use example project demnostrating the powerful openArchitectureWare generator framework. It is runnable with minimal prerequisites and configuration.

If you're looking for a simple project that can be used as a base for new oAW based projects this example project should be quite right!

Prerequisites

This Hello World project expects that

• you do understand the basic ideas of Model-Driven Software Development, specifically metamodelling.
• you have an UML tool that supports XMI export.

Installation

• Download the GeneratorHelloWorld sample project from the You the sourceforge file release page - package samples and unzip it.
• Look into the doc/ directory and read the index.html document. All steps are explained there. In the normal case you're done by unzipping it :-)
