FAQ: What about the quality of openArchitectureWare?
As oAW exists since 1999 the kernel is stable.
In addition to the kernel there are some add-ons such as the utilities, a metamodel generator and a generator to build graphical (GEF-based) editors for your models.
All the different packages are currently in use in different (commercial) projects, so they are stable.
However the different packages are in different development states, for example, the metamodel generator is more mature then the GEF generator.
